India LEAD Programme

Our India LEAD (Leadership Empowerment and Development) programme focuses on the promotion of equal employment opportunities and heightened awareness of the rights of disabled people living in India. The immediate beneficiaries of this programme are: disabled people who are highly-skilled; graduates that are unemployed or underemployed, living in India.

In India, disabled people face many barriers and their needs are more often unrecognised or disregarded. This is due to a number of reasons: from a lack of resources and infrastructure, incomprehensive equality laws and policies with a general lack of enforcement to a dismissive culture and negative attitudes of society in relation to the ability of disabled people. This is compounded by a visible lack of disabled leaders and role models for aspiring disabled people in India.

Why India?

  • Business Context
With the current intensified interest on the international business relationship between the UK and India, our LEAD (Leadership, Empowerment and Development) programme particularly focuses on providing UK businesses with a sustainable platform to develop their international market and invest in a corporate social initiative. This results in empowering the disadvantaged and also improving business ethics, both in India and in the UK.

Benefits to your organisation and employees

We at Choice International recognise that companies are increasingly adopting best practices and trying to measure, improve and report publicly about their business behaviour.

We understand that essentially corporate social responsibility (CSR) embodies two emergent concepts – value creation and triple bottom line (TBL). The triple bottom line approach acknowledges financial, environmental and social responsibilities of companies to wider society. Our creatively designed and customisable CSR Partner Plan will ensure that we support and enhance partner CSR strategy through transparency, engagement and information.

As our partner we offer you internal and external benefits both in the UK and India ranging from brand presence on social and traditional media, provision of equality and diversity training, staff volunteering involvement and creating a legacy to maximise the impact and benefit of our partnership to your company’s CSR policy.

    Sustainable Business Model

Choice International plays a nurturing role with its candidates allowing for permanent job placement and career prosperity, development of skills and social change while facilitating business success by supporting business partners with rigorous recruitment and fulfilling CSR objectives through the appropriately matched LEAD candidate.
